Dear Peter:
Will you please send me by fax and email any communications
you have had with local 5 on this matter and instruct the supervisor
of local 5 to send me by fax copies of any communications he has
with your office on this matter.

I am in the process of obtaining affidavits from  many members who
are willing to swear under oath that they did not receive notice of the
nomination. Will you want these affidavits in support of my protest.?

Will you please issue an order to local 5 to obtain a variance from the
International to provide for mail in ballots on behalf of all local 5 members
who meet one of the following conditions:

or for any other reason that you determine to be appropriate

Will you please issue an order to local 5 to include with the nomination
notice the Rules, Policies, and Wages of Local 5. The members pursuant
to my motion on April 3 voted in favor of sending this information to members, many of
whom do not attend union meetings. Otherwise, I will send the document
via a mailing myself and send the bill for mailing costs to local 5 for payment.
The newly elected boards of local 5 will, I am confident, authorize reimbursement
in the event the supervisor of local 5 does not heed the member's vote specifically
authorizing the dissemination of this information.

I am trying to teach the members of local 5 that they control local 5 and that
the decisions of the executive board are always subject to approval of the members at the next union meeting.
