Re: names of protestors of election in local 2

Dear Mr. Vaira:

In my election protest on behalf of members of local 2 who were deprived of
the right to nominate delegates to the district council, a deprivation of
rights subsequently acknowledged by President/business manager John Matassa, jr.
(see http://members.xoom.com/jimmcgough under The Laborers and local 2,)
I indicated that the U.S. Attorney in Chicago had their names. If my protest
was deficient for that reason alone, common courtesy would dictate I be immediately informed and not
have to call you to ascertain why no formal response to the protest has been furnished by
your office. Use email and reduce the costs of reform is my suggestion..

The protestor's name on whose behalf I have authority to act is John Burke, member in good
standing. Please keep in mind that many laborers can not afford to hire an attorney to protect
their interests. Some can not write. Some can not read. They ask me to help because there are
not enough of your brothers and sisters in the bar willing to perform probono services.  They also have
to work at the calling and don't have any background in law. What little I have is at their disposal.
I do have 15 years experience, however, in dealing with the managing partners of some
very prominent law firms in law office management and can judge a well run law firm from one
that needs improvement.

Please acknowledge formally receipt and docketing of this matter. if you want to use fax, my number
is 630-604-4496. The fax will come by email.

Sincerely yours,

James McGough
